Wednesday the 18th of April we will be presenting our Fashion Products on a catwalk situation in Brixton (to be confirmed) For this project we are to work in pairs, starting from scratch we have to decide as a pair how we want to approach our colour palette, research etc.
This is our second week into the 6 week project, we spoke to Claire on Wednesday, we explained our ideas and reasoning behind our research ideas. She seemed to like the concept, she asked us what materials and techniques she thought we should use. Obviously its quite difficult working in a pair everyone's used to their work being their own individual style whereas now we're collaborating we need to work together and compromise on ideas, agreed and disagreed, constant communication throughout is needed, a transfer of data between the team so each person knows what's going on with the other, so far we've found it quite easy to collaborate our idea and what we want to interpret into our works, fingers crossed this carries on!
Natural Transition - Natural forms, organic, local, living, climatic, environmental , evolve, wild, raw, un-earthed, metamorphosis.
Materal Transition: Regenerate, playful mixing, old & new, cut and paste, local skills, eccentric, assemble, co-design, repair, hand made, embed, merge, alter.
